Falls of the Ohio State Park

This past weekend, I was in Louisville, KY as a displaying artist at FandomFest comic con.  Friday morning I had some free time to spend in the city before the event kicked off.  Many of you are familiar with my love for state and national parks so it's no surprise how I spent my time!  I drove to the Indiana side of the Ohio River across from the city to check out Falls of the Ohio State Park.  Each year as the river level gradually lowers throughout the summer, an immense 390 million year old fossil bed is exposed along with some of the secrets she hides!  After visiting the for a bit and taking pictures, I also drove a portion of the Ohio River Scenic Byway through the charming town of Jeffersonville.
